Billy Reeder

Don’t let his playful demeanor fool you.  When it comes to developing communication strategies and coaching, Billy is a no-nonsense kind of guy.  With over 20 years of experience, he has worked in broadcast news, served as a municipal public information officer, consulted on national advertising campaigns and served as the state director of communication for the Arkansas Conference of the United Methodist Church.  Currently he resides as an assistant professor of multimedia journalism at Arkansas Tech University where he teaches new media, public relations, visual storytelling, and documentary film making.  He continues to travel extensively training on social media and branding.

Billy holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and an M.A. in Multimedia Communication.

Apart from his digital life, Billy lives in a log cabin that he built on his family cattle ranch riding horses and raising Angus cattle.


Barbara Aitken
Production Supervisor

Barbara Aitken is the founder of Barbwire Productions. Barbara developed a love for horses at a young age, growing into a competitive career competing in the show pen, and learning to use her creative skills to express the equestrian world.  That love is now often expressed through a camera lens and a video editor.

Barbara received a Bachelors of Arts and Sciences degree from Baylor University in Professional Writing while being an active member of the NCAA Baylor Women’s Equestrian Team. After graduating BU in 2013, Barbara continued her education at Arkansas Tech University, expanding her creative skills from pen and paper to the TV screen. She graduated ATU in 2015 with a M.A. in Multimedia Journalism. For the past year she’s been working in Marketing and Communications with the Ohio Quarter Horse Associationin Richwood, Ohio, the home of the All American Quarter Horse Congress.

Barbara resides in Scranton, Arkansas where she works in multiple aspects of the horse industry and works with her family’s business, Aitken Quarter Horses.
